Our History
Gallus Medical Detox Centers was founded in 2011 by Dr. Patrick Gallus, a board-certified emergency medicine physician with extensive experience in treating drug and alcohol-related issues. Dr. Gallus envisioned a facility that would provide high-quality, medically monitored detoxification services in a safe and comfortable environment. Since its inception, Gallus has grown significantly, expanding its services and locations to better serve individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
Initially, Gallus began operations in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has since expanded to multiple locations, including Littleton, Colorado and Dallas, Texas. In 2024, Gallus further expanded its services by introducing outpatient behavioral services, starting with a new facility in Denver, Colorado, offering intensive outpatient programs (IOP) with IOP opening in Dallas Texas and a location opening in Scottsdale Arizona soon.
Gallus now offers skills training and support via video conference / telehealth everywhere in Colorado, Texas, and Arizona.
Outpatient MAT / Medically Assisted at Home withdrawal maintenance is expanding in 2025.
